I’m becoming an English and Media teacher, focusing on how young people make meaning through language, image and media.
Perspective
I’m interested in how stories, images and media shape thinking and how teaching helps students understand and navigate those influences.
Pedagogy
Grounded in design and literacy, I use Ten Lenses to help students see how meaning is shaped across language, image and media.
Practice
I aim to create calm, clear learning spaces where students feel safe to think, question and speak openly, supported by steady scaffolds and meaningful dialogue.
Personal Profile
Coming from design and digital culture, I’m moving from making meaning to understanding how meaning is made. A shift that leads me into English and Media teaching.
